Hinge of the type formed by two pieces which are joined with a common pin, one secured to a fixed support and the other to the door, which is characterized in that the piece A located underneath has, housed inside the tube 2a, a screw C and nut D mechanism, and at least one planar lateral face 8 in contact with a projection 11 of said tube 2a prevents free rotation thereof when the screw C is turned from the outside, developing solely a translational movement. On the solid part 7 of the nut D rests the rod 9 of the piece B of the hinge, in such a manner that it is possible to offset wear on the parts subject to friction.
