This system is applicable in parking levels equipped with vehicle entry and exit control, and also with car lifts for transferring said vehicles from one level to another. The original feature of the system is that the entire surface of every level is occupied with parking places, eliminating the traditional lanes via which the vehicles move about. To this end, parking is effected by means of displaceable bridges suspended from the ceiling, on which bridges are formed as many modules as there are spaces across the width of the level, each module being displaceable upwards and/or downwards in order to remove a vehicle from a space or to place one in a space, on the basis of rotary pieces for supporting the vehicle provided in the module and in the actual parking space. <IMAGE>
