PURPOSE:To prevent absorption of carbon dioxide gas in the air and obtain extracting water for permitting pH measurement of weak acid or weak base by neutralizing a drop in pH due to absorption of carbon dioxide gas in the air by means of addition of required carbonate, etc. CONSTITUTION:A drop in pH of extracting water due to absorption of carbon dioxide gas in the air is neutralized by addition of carbonate such as barium carbonate for example and the water is used, thereby preventing absorption of carbon dioxide in the air and realizing extracting water to be used for pH measurement of organic solvent, which allows pH measurement of weak acid or weak base in the vicinity of pH 7. |
