PURPOSE:To obtain the toner which exhibits excellent winding-round resistance and offset resistance and to form images which have bright magenta color tone free from clouding and have high image densities by regulating a kneading temp. to a specific range in the relation between the softening point of a polyester resin and the m. p. of polyolefin wax. CONSTITUTION:The polyester resin contg. 10 to 40wt.% tetrahydrofuran TFT- insoluble-component, the polyolefin wax and a magenta pigment having <=1.0 value of the ratio of oil absorption and specific surface area (oil absorption/ specific surface area) are kneaded at the kneading temp. T satisfying following equations (1) and (2). The equations (1) T1-50<=T<=T1-30, the equation (2) T2<=-20. In the equations, T1 denotes the softening point of the polyester resin and T2 denotes the m. p. of the polyolefin wax. The toner which can exhibit the excellent winding-round resistance and offset resistance is obtd. in this way and the images which have the bright magenta color tone free from clouding and have the high image densities are formed in this way. |
