PURPOSE:To prevent the condensation layer of a latent heat storing material from being produced on the outer surface of a circulation tube and to greatly improve the heat transfer characteristic of the titled device to afford a stable heat exchange characteristic to the titled device by effecting a heat exchange between a heat exchange medium with a latent heat storing material through a heat exchanger in which a heat transfer medium having a boiling point which is lower than a melting point of the latent heat storing material is sealed. CONSTITUTION:In a case where the temperature of a heat exchange medium is lower than the temperature of a latent heat storing material 1 within a tank 2, heat-exchange is first carried out between the latent heat storing material 1 and a heat transfer medium 3, and the heat transfer medium 3 is vaporized. Thus, the heat transfer medium 3 rises up on the surface of a circulation tube 5 within the heat exchanger 4 at a high speed. The heat transfer medium 3 which has been converted into a fluid by the heat exchange between the heat transfer medium 3 and the heat exchange medium flows down within the heat exchanger 4 and accumulates at the lower end portion thereof. The fluid heat medium 3 is heat-exchanged with the latent heat storing material 1. By carrying out heat exchange between the heat exchange medium and the latent heat storing material, the formation of the latent heat storing material on the surface of the circulation tube can be prevented and the heat transfer characteristic can be greatly improved. |
