PURPOSE:To make it possible to instantaneously take out high heat and to prevent waste hot water from mixing in a coolant by causing the coolant to flow from the heat radiating portion of an auxiliary tank to the heat radiating portion of a main tank and also causing the coolant to flow from the heat absorbing portion of the main tank to the heat absorbing portion of the auxiliary tank. CONSTITUTION:In a case where there is no ample heat in a heat storage tank 1, the coolant is introduced into a heat exchanger 6a within a main tank 2 via the heat exchanger 6b of an auxiliary tank 3 and waste hot water is introduced into the heat exchanger 7a within the main tank 2 via a heat exchanger 7b within the auxiliary tank 3, these coolant and waste hot water being discharged. On the other hand, supply water for supply hot water is introduced into a heat absorbing part 5b within the auxiliary tank 3 via the heat absorbing part 5a within the main tank 2, and is heat exchanged and discharged out of the tank. High heat is stored in priority in the auxiliary tank 3 having a low heat storage capacity, and high temperature can be instantaneously obtained by the heat exchange. Surplus heat is stored within the main tank 2. Further, surplus heat generated from the heat exchange to supply hot water within the auxiliary tank 3 is passed through a partitioning plate 16 and is heat-transferred within the main tank 2. When the temperature within the auxiliary tank 3 rises up and the pressure becomes high, the heat is radiated through communication hole 4 into the main tank 2. |
