BEAM CONDUIT DEVICE IN LASER ROBOT

PURPOSE:To allow the easy maintenance of a mirror which guides a laser beam into a robot machine body by mounting this mirror into a mirror housing and constituting this housing in such a manner that the housing can be drawn out of a stand. CONSTITUTION:The machine body 10 of the laser robot has the mirror housing 20 which can be drawn out of the inside of the erected stand 12. A mirror unit 30 is installed into a casing 22 of the mirror housing 20. The laser beam emitted from a laser oscillator is introduced through an external beam introducing pipe (not shown in Fig.) from an aperture 24a of a front panel 24 of the mirror housing 20 via a beam conduit 38 into an light inlet 34 of the mirror unit 30 and is reflected by the built-in mirror. This light is introduced through the aperture 14 of the stand 12 from a light exit 36 into the machine body 10 of the laser robot. The mirror housing 20 of the beam conduit device of the above-mentioned laser robot is so formed that the mirror housing can be drawn out of the stand 12, by which the maintenance of the built-in mirror is facilitated.
