<p>PURPOSE:To improve the operability of removal of a coating maternal greatly by disposing two cutting blades at positions on the same circumference of the outer periphery of a cable and in a state of facing each other at an angle of 180 degrees, by rotating the cutting blades in the direction of the circumference and then by disposing them in the direction parallel to the longitudinal direction. CONSTITUTION:Two cutting blades 1 are disposed at positions on the same circumference E of a covering of a cable 41, at right angles to the axial direction and in a state of facing each other at an angle of 180 degrees. The cutting blades 1 held by two discrete holders 2 are made to cut in toward the center of the cable on the same circumference of the covering of the cable, corresponding to the thickness of the covering. In this state of cutting in, the blades are rotated at an angle of 180 degrees, so as to cut the covering of the cable. Moreover, the same process as the above is executed at positions on the circumference F which becomes the other end part of the length of removal of the covering of the cable 41. Next, the two cutting blades 1 are turned to be parallel to the axial direction of the cable 41 and drawn in a state of facing each other at the angle of 180 degrees from the position of the circumference E or F to the position of the other end by a drawing handle 3. Thereby the state of a coating material being removed is brought about.</p> |
