PURPOSE:To obtain the above thermal recording sheet of high sensitivity corresponding to the increase in speed or energy conservation of a facsimile by providing a thermal color forming layer containing a color forming compound, an acidic substance, oxalic ester and/or aliphatic dibasic acid ester and alcohol having a C-C triple bond. CONSTITUTION:A thermal color forming layer containing a color forming cmpound, an acidic substance, oxalic ester and/or aliphatic dibasic acid ester and alcohol having a C-C triple bond is provided. As oxalic ester, a dibenzyl oxalate compound such as dibenzyl oxalate, (p-chlorobenzyl) oxalate or bis(p- methylbenzyl) oxalate is pref. As aliphatic dibasic acid ester, bis(o-chlorobenzyl) adipate and diphenacyl glutamate are pref. As alcohol having a C-C triple bond, especially, ethylene oxide 3.5 mol adduct of 2,4,7,9-tetramethyl-5-desin-4,7- diol is pref. |
