PURPOSE:To easily carry out the culture of a plant by sowing plant seeds on a base sheet floatable on a culture liquid and having a plurality of through-holes having a specific diameter and floating the sheet on the culture liquid. CONSTITUTION:The base sheet to be used in the present process is a sheet floatable on a culture liquid 26 for hydroponic culture and has a plurality of through-holes 13 each having a constricted part 14 having a diameter capable of passing the root of sowed plant 2 to enable the growth of the plant but incapable of passing the seed of the plant 2. Seeds of a plant 2 are sowed on the sheet 10 and the sheet is floated on a culture liquid 26 to effect the culture of the plant. The sheet 10 is preferably made of foamed polyethylene, etc. |
