<p>PURPOSE:To reduce variation of tension without receiving the mechanical effect of a looper by controlling the speed of a motor for a looper by using the speed corrected with the signal for the difference between a reference value of speed and a measured value of speed and the deviation between a reference value of tension and a measured value of tension. CONSTITUTION:In a looper central device which is provided for absorbing a difference of the passing which tension is beld in constant when the passing speeds are different between two sections, sped detectors 10, 11 detect the passing speed. The speld reference signal is corrected by speed correction devices 14,15 through a signal for the difference between the detected value and the speed reference value preset in each section. The speed reference for the looper is made by using the corrected speed value and the deviation between the tension value detected by a tension detector 12 provided in the looper and the tension reference value to control the speed of a looper motor 5. Consequently, the variation of tension can be reduced without receiving the effect of the mechanical friction of the looper.</p> |
