<p>PURPOSE:To display a picture while its surrounding part is fogged by providing a recording system for recording a picture on a recording medium and a reproduction system for outputting a picture on a display device to the camera and recording an object image while its surrounding is fogged when a digital picture data is recorded on the recording medium. CONSTITUTION:A digital filter 8 applies arithmetic processing to a surrounding part of a picture stepwise to weaken a high spatial frequency component stepwise to output an object image onto a display device while its surrounding is fogged when a digital picture data is stored in an external memory 11 or a recorded picture data is reproduced. The stepwise arithmetic processing detects an address of a picture data on a screen and the type of the filter is changed thereby. Then the filter to weaken the component with the higher spatial frequency toward the outside of the picture is selected to apply the arithmetic processing. Thus, when the object image recorded on the recording medium is outputted on the display device, the object image is outputted while the surrounding of the picture is fogged.</p> |
