The invention relates to devices for heating by contact heat- transfer, of the type intended to placed on a wall, in particular the rear face of the mirror of a rear-view mirror for vehicles, and including a plurality of electrically resistive and conductive elements, arranged on a flexible laminar dielectric support which is held, in particular by adhesive bonding, on the said wall. According to the invention, the electrically resistive elements (2) are arranged side by side, in a row, and are connected together, on one and same side, by the electrically conducting elements (3), so as to allow, on the side opposite the conductive linkage (3), cutting of the heating device in order to match it to the dimensions of the surfaces to be covered, and the flexible laminar support (1) has, in the regions of the conducting elements, or in other words between each resistive element, the side opposite their conductive linkage, cut-outs (4) so as to allow their individual deformation in order to match them to the shapes of the surfaces to be covered, while minimising the variation in the resistance of each element. <IMAGE>
