PURPOSE:To execute the precise measurement of brightness corresponding to a photographing state by providing a means which executes control so that output from a peripheral photometry means is used as the output of photometry in the case that a distance to an object is a shortest distance and output from a central photometry means is used as the output of the photometry in the case that the distance to the object is not the shortest distance. CONSTITUTION:The distance to the object is measured by a range-finding means 16 and the data of range-finding is outputted to a CPU 14. Besides, it is decided by the CPU 14 whether the distance to the object is the shortest distance or a long distance by regarding a prescribed distance as a reference. Then, when it is the shortest distance, only the analog switch 12b of the peripheral photometry means 11 is turned on. When it is not the shortest distance, only the analog switch 12a of the central photometry means 10 is turned on through an inverter 19. As the result, the output of the photometry is outputted to the CPU 14 from the selected photometry means 10 or 11 through an A/D converter 13. Thus, the precise measurement of the brightness corresponding to the photographing state is executed. |
