PURPOSE:To attain communication between slave stations relating to a different connection device not through a general subscriber telephone network by providing a common ID number in common to connection devices in one and same system and including the common ID number to a control signal from a slave station. CONSTITUTION:An ID number includes an ID 1 number and an ID 2 number. The ID 1 number is a common ID number given in common to a connection device 1(2) and a connection device 2(7), and an ID 2 number is an individual ID number given differently to the connection device 1(2) and the connection device 2(7) respectively. When a slave station desires the communication with a slave station under the control of other connection device, the ID 2 number is kept the same and the individual ID 1 number of a connection device corresponding to a slave station making a request is used to attain the communication between slave stations under the control of different connection devices not through a general subscriber telephone network (1).
