Chewable capsules are filled with a liq. compsn. contg. 0.1-10 mg nicotine together with additives for improving flavour and compatibility. The compsn. has a pH of 6-10. The compsn. contains 2-5 mg nicotine and has a pH of 6-8. The capsules contain 0.1-2.5 (esp. 0.1-1) ml of the compsn. A selection of capsules with different pH values may be provided to allow the consumer a choice of nicotine absorption rates. Several small capsules may be contained in a large capsule.
