PURPOSE:To reprint a barcode detected as unmatched, and print an error mark by providing an error mark addition device which attaches the error mark to a barcode detected as unmatched by a comparison device. CONSTITUTION:A barcode corresponding to printed barcode information stored in a storage device 2 is printed on a label for printing attached to a roll paper 4 using a printing device 3. The printed barcode is read immediately after printing using a barcode reading device 8. the barcode information which is thus read is compared with printed barcode information at a control device 1. If the information is found as unmatched as a result of comparison, it is interpreted as 'print error' and is printed again using the printing device 3. Further, an error mark is printed on the label by an error identification marker 9. |
