A coil connector couples a coil to a spool core (1). The ends (7) of the winding (3) are twisted several times and then wound around the core before being guided outwardly through a trumpet shaped opening (6) in the flange (5) of the core. USE/ADVANTAGE - Wire ends can be continuously led out from core. Provides better proteciton against mechanical stressss on contact. Partic. advantageous for windings of very thin wires.
