Dovetail-type corner joint - has profiled component inserted in mating recess running through alternating tongues

The dovetail-type corner joint is for use between wooden components. A recess (9) is formed at the joint, and runs parallel to the edge (11) through the alternating tongues (5). It has branches (9', 9") at right angles, each extending into the portion of the plank (1) behind the tongues. A mating locking or sealing profiled component (15) is inserted in the recess. USE/ADVANTAGE - Simplicity, strength, and improved sealing against wind and rainwater.
