Static testing of components of antilock and/or slip control system - using electronic unit performing predefined test plan before dynamic testing on motor vehicle assembly line

A method of static testing of individual components of anti-lock and/or anti-slip control systems, i.e. ABS/ASR systems, of motor vehicles (1) involves using an electronic test device (2) according to defined test specifications in individual test steps. The static testing is performed on the vehicle assembly line (3) after installation of the cabin and wheel mounting and before dynamic testing on a roller test bed after the assembly line. USE/ADVANTAGE - E.g. for static testing of sensors and magnetic valves at low cost.
