<p>PURPOSE:To prevent recording from being interrupted halfway by connecting two or more recording devices and serially actuating the next device with a signal detecting the end of a tape in the preceding device. CONSTITUTION:Two or more main body devices 9 and 10 are connected and arranged so that a standby signal from the tape residual quantity detector 8 of the 1st main body 9, a start signal from a tape end detector 7, and a stop signal outputted at the time of attaining a finish time set in a timer 1 are outputted to respective output terminals (d), (b) and (f) through a system controller 3 and transmitted to the corresponding terminals (a), (c) and (e) of the 2nd main body 10. Therefore, the 2nd tape recording and reproducing device 10 is made in a standby state with the standby signal, immediately continues recording with the start signal and finishes recording with the stop signal. Thus, the consecutive recording of the tape is accomplished.</p> |
