METHOD OF PREPARING FOR CYTIDINE PHOSPHATE

A cytidine diphosphate choline (CDP-choline) is prepd. by (a) removing phosphate Ca ion etc. by passing CDP-choline contg. soln. through strong base anion exchane resin (OH type) (I) and eluting, and (b) absorbing the CDP-choline by re-passing the above eluted solution through strong base anion exchange resin (formic acid type) (II) and eluting with 0.02-0.03 mol formic acid soln. to obtain the high purifyed cytidine diphosphate choline. The used amount ratio of (I):(II) is 1:8. The obtd. CDP-choline is useful as remedy for disturbance of consciousness.
