PURPOSE:To shorten a time required to recognize a position of a component supplying point after a component feeder is altered to be disposed by storing information regarding the position of the feed point of each component feeder type at each mounting seat in memory means, and inputting the type of the feeder to be mounted at the seat by input means. CONSTITUTION:A controller 10 has a CPU, memories, etc. A mounting program is stored in a mounting program memory 13, the coordinates of a mounting point is stored in a mounting point memory 14, they are input from an input unit 11, stored in advance, and the coordinates of a component supplying point is stored in a component supplying point memory 15. A control unit 16 of the controller 10 controls a transfer head 9, a sucking nozzle 7, a conveying mechanism 4, etc., based on the mounting program, the coordinates of the mounting point and the supplying point, conveys a board 2 to a mounting operating position, mounts a plurality of components at predetermined adhering points on the board 2, and conveys out the board, after the mounting operation is finished to automatically repeat the mounting work of the component on the board 2, thereby greatly shorten a time required to operate of teaching the supplying point. |
