摘要 PURPOSE:To enhance accuracy by reducing an error due to the shift of a mount core, by respectively symmetrically arranging auxiliary coils each generating magnetic flux diminishing the magnetic flux in a direction generating a measuring error in the vicinity of both end parts of a magnetic field generating part in the measuring pipe axis direction thereof. CONSTITUTION:Auxiliary coils 3a, 3a', 3b, 3b' are provided so as to surround the plate surfaces of a magnetic flux enlarging core 6b at both end parts thereof. Not only the auxiliary coils 3a, 3a' but also the auxiliary coils 3b, 3b' are respectively symmetric to a YY'-surface and the auxiliary coils 3a, 3a' and 3b, 3b' are respectively symmetric to a ZZ'-surface. The center magnetic fluxes of the auxiliary coils 3a, 3a', 3b, 3b' are directed toward the YY'-surface. In this case, when a magnetic field crossing the flow of the fluid in a measuring pipe 4 at a right angle is applied by a magnetic field generating part 6, the magnetic flux directed to the end of the measuring pipe 4 is diminished by the reversely directed magnetic field generated by each auxiliary coil and the magnetic flux in the axial direction of the measuring pipe leaked to the outside from the end of the measuring pipe is reduced. By this method, an error based on the material quality of partner piping and the shift of the mount core of a flowmeter is hardly generated and measuring accuracy is enhanced.
