The emulsifier has a housing (2) with a steam delivery channel (3) open to a suction chamber (6), an air intake line and a milk intake line (8). Both lines are in communication with the suction chamber. A flow rate adjuster (16) is connected in the air intake line. A shutter (18) is operative in the air intake line and a restrictor (23) is operative in an end section (11) of the milk intake line (8). The shutter and restrictor are both operable by hand.
