<p>PURPOSE:To economically perform communication without remodeling an already prepared packet network by setting a communication path between a new designated terminating terminal and the packet network after disconnecting the communication path between an external device and the packet network. CONSTITUTION:Storage position information or an information guide service request of an external device 2 which an originating terminal 3 designates is detected to generate packet network storage position information of the external device 2 of a packet network 5, and a communication path is set between the originating terminal 3 and the external device 2 based on the generated external device storage position information. After the communication path between the external device 2 and the packet network 5 is disconnected, a communication path between a new designated terminating terminal 4 and the packet network 5 is set to give the information guide service from the terminating terminal 4 to the originating terminal 3. Thus, the communication path is directly set between a terminal and a terminating terminal (IP), which the terminal desires, in the packet network, and the cost of communication to the IP is minimized.</p> |
