Central-locking system for a cover of an aperture of a motor vehicle, having a barrier (3) for opening and closing the cover, an actuating element (2), by which the barrier (3) can be selectively locked or unlocked, an operating element (4) in the passenger space, which can supply actuating signals for locking and unlocking the barrier (3), a control unit (1) which supplies a control current to the actuating element (2) for locking or unlocking, a receiver (6) which receives actuating signals, transmitted by a hand transmitter (7), for unlocking and locking the barrier (3) and which transfers these to the control unit (1) and thereby triggers the locking or unlocking of the barrier (3), and a blocking unit (5) which can block the unlocking signal transmitted to the control unit (1) by the operating element (4), in particular prevent the locked barrier (3) from being unlocked by the operating element (4).
