PURPOSE:To enable automation and achieve mass productivity and greatly reduce the manufacturing cost of long-size parallel codes by binding the long-size prallel codes together after cutting them into predetermined size, and forking the end portion of each of the parallel codes into the shape of Y, and passing a color-coded insulating cover around each of the forked codes correspondingly to code polarities. CONSTITUTION:A code sizing unit 10 for cutting each of long-size parallel codes into predetermined size, a winding mechanism 21 for making both end portions of each of the parallel codes parallel to each other with adjusted polarities and also winding the other part of each code, and a strapping unit for binding wound portions together are provided. Further a forking and cover- mounting unit 80 is provided for forking the end portion of each of the parallel codes into the shape of Y and passing a color-coded insulating cover around each of the forked codes correspondingly to code polarities. A series of pretreatment machining can thus be automated, achieving labor saving, high efficiency, and cost reduction. |
