PURPOSE:To perform fast drawing with a simplified process, by providing a paint-out only memory corresponding to the address space of a display memory, and designating the area of a write bit after an odd/even-th area as a paint-out/non paint-out targeted area. CONSTITUTION:A graphic processor 1 performs dot development connecting between apexes with a straight line, and writes a developed dot on a display memory 4, and simultaneously, writes the developed dot on a paint-out only memory 6. Next, the processor, after completing the picturing of all of the whole contour of a closed area, reads the memory 6 in an X and a Y directions in the sequence of address, and retrieves the write bit, while increasing the address in the X direction. When the first write bit is detected, the area after that is designated as the paint-out targeted area, and the dot development by a designated color is applied on the memory 4. Hereinafter, it is judged the area of the bit at the even/odd-th area as the non paint-out/paint-out area, then the drawing of the closed area is performed at high speed. |
