发明名称 PRODUCTION OF POROUS METALLIC NICKEL SUBSTRATE
摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain the titled substrate consisting of Ni layers whose thickness is uniform even in the interior and having high conductivity and strength by plating a foamed resin with Ni, impregnating a specified Ni compound into the resin and heat treating the resin to reduce the Ni compound to metallic Ni. CONSTITUTION:A foamed resin such as urethane foam is plated with Ni and one or more kinds of Ni compounds selected among nickel oxalate, nickel acetate, basic nickel carbonate, nickel hydroxide and nickel oxide are impregnated into the resin. After the resin is dried by preheating, it is heated in hydrogen or the like to reduce the Ni compounds. The resin is then decomposed and removed by further heating, and the resulting Ni is annealed at a proper temp. to form the titled substrate having superior electric conductivity and high strength. When the substrate is used as an electrode material, an active substance does not fall off and the performance is not deteriorated.
