PURPOSE:To facilitate insertion of printing wires and prevent quality from being lowered due to damage to the printing wires or guide holes, by arranging a plurality of guide plates at predetermined intervals and in a predetermined order, passing the printing wires through the guide holes in the guide plates and fitting the resultant assembly into a hollow part of a head frame through an opening part provided in a rear face of the head frame. CONSTITUTION:Guide grooves of guide plates 2-5 are engaged to a guide rail 7b, and the guide plates 2-4 are arranged at predetermined intervals by opposing the rear face of each of the guide plates to a spacer piece 3c-5c of the adjacent guide plate. Positioning pins 7c, 7c are fitted into pin holes 7d, 7d, thereby restricting forward displacement of the guide plates 2-5. Printing wires 6 are passed through guide holes in the guide plates 2-5 from the rear side of the guide plate 5. Thereafter, the positioning pins 7c, 7c are drawn out, and the resultant assembly is moved along the guide rail 7b into a hollow part 1c of a head frame 1 through a rear opening part 1b of the frame 1 while maintaining the guide plates 2-5 at the predetermined intervals. |
