PURPOSE:To improve the reproducibility of coloring by coating an oxide film formed on the surface of a Ti material by plasma oxidation with a polymer film by plasma polymn. CONSTITUTION:A Ti material to be treated is put in a vacuum chamber and a gas contg. oxygen is introduced into the chamber. The oxygen molecules in the gas are then ionized and collided against the Ti material to form a Ti oxide film on the surface. The oxide film is coated with a polymer film by plasma polymn.
