PURPOSE:To remove a binder through its vaporization without causing deformation etc. by heating a thermoplastic binder-contg. injection molded form to its softening point or lower to vaporize part of said binder followed by heating said form in an inert atmosphere under a moderate pressure. CONSTITUTION:A thermoplastic binder (e.g. a mixture of vinyl resin and wax) is added to raw material powder to impart it with injection moldability followed by making an injection molding. The resulting injection molded form is heated to its softening point or lower to vaporize part of said binder. Thence, said form is pressurized under such an extent of pressure as to enable its shape to be retained, and heated in an inert atmosphere to such a temperature as to enable most of said binder to be vaporized, thus vaporizing and removing most of said binder in the injection molded form. |
