PURPOSE:To prevent the abrasive grain in a gelled or solidified abrasive from being circulated and to execute polishing well without damaging a work, by providing a changeover means which discharges the washing fed from a washing means flowing to a return pipe from a pan without returning it to a stirrer. CONSTITUTION:A washing means 26 for washing the abrasive residual on a pan 2 with washing being fed to the pan 2 when polishing is not performed, is provided. Then, the washing fed from the washing means 26 flowing to a return pipe 18 from this pan 2 are discharged without returning to an abrasive stirring machine 17 by a switching means 19. Thus, the abrasive grain in abrasives can be prevented from being re-circulated with its being gelled or solidified and a work 15 can be subjected to polishing well without damaging. |
