PURPOSE:To constitute a connection switch having minimum electric capacity and to eliminate switching impact by connecting a plurality of stator windings in series delta and disposing two connection switches for providing 0 deg. and 120 deg. phase differences of rotating field between the windings of the plurality of stators. CONSTITUTION:Terminals (X2, Y2, Z2) of a stator winding 10 are connected with a power supply so that the stator windings 10, 11 are connected in series delta. One terminals of a connection switch S2 are connected in parallel with one terminals of a connection switch S1, whereas the other terminals are connected with the terminals (U2, V2, W2) of the stator winding 10 so that the stator windings 10, 11 have electrical phase difference of 120 deg.. When the switch S1 is closed and a power switch S0 is closed, the stator windings 10, 11 are connected in series delta. When the switches S1, S2 are closed the stator windings 10, 11 are connected in parallel star with the power supply. When only the switch S1 is opened, sharing voltages of the windings 10, 11 provide 120 deg. phase difference between the stators. Since the load current is not interrupted by the switch, connection switch having low electric capacity can be employed. |
