PURPOSE:To enable a sure lapping without over-grinding and residual cut, by moving a polishing paper when a roughing stage is completed, and executing a finishing stage at the unused part of the polishing paper. CONSTITUTION:A roughing stage lapping a polishing paper 2 being pressed to the work 1 surface with a strong pressure by a driving means 7 and the finishing stage lapping with the polishing paper 2 being pressed to the work 1 surface with the weaker pressure than the roughing stage, are equipped and the work 1 surface is finished via at least these two stages process. Moreover, a highly accurate finishing having no overcut or residual cut can be performed, by the lapping that the polishing paper 2 having no clogging is pressed with a weak pressure, because of an unused polishing paper 2 being used at all times with the action of a winding up gear 6 in the final finishing stage. |
