The telecommunications control unit includes two computers working in sychronism, one in each half system of the unit. One half system also includes a direct bus line connecting the first computer with a first interface half system and to a first coupler of peripheral information. A first control interface connects the bus line to a switching network of the telecommunications centre. The second half system comprises the second computer coupled to a second bus line. The latter also connects with a second interface half system which in turn couples through a third bus line with the first interface half system. Second coupler couples peripheral information to the second bus line and a second control interface connects the second bus line to the telecommunication centre switching network. A synchronism control interconnects the two interface half systems to synchronise the two computers.
