PURPOSE:To obtain dried sea tangle roll containing rice cake without generating crack in the rice cake nor tackiness of the sea tangle even in preserving for a long period of time after preparation by using rice cake containing controlled water content in mixing with sugaralcohol. CONSTITUTION:Sugaralcohol in an amount of 15-30wt.% to weight of rice cake before drying is added to steamed glutinous rice and rice cake is prepared using a rice-preparing machine by a normal method, then shaped to preferably 0.2-0.5cm thickness, thus water content is adjusted to 15-25wt.% and dried. Next, resultant rice cake is rolled with sea tangle to afford the aimed dried sea tangle roll containing rice cake. |
