PURPOSE:To generate the composite character of excellent quality by compositing a character to be composited and a composite pattern after reducing or enlarging the character to be composited so that it may be inside the specified composite pattern designated and generating the composite character. CONSTITUTION:This system is provided with a display device 4 such as a CRT display, etc., for displaying inputted character, mark and document data, etc., a hard disk 5 for storing a program for editing the document or the document data etc., and a floppy disk 6 for storing the document data, etc. In the case of compositing the character to be composited and the specified composite pattern, the character to be composited and the specified composite pattern which have the same size are not directly composited but they are composited after the size of the character to be composited is automatically contracted and enlarged at specified reduction ratio or enlargement ratio so that the character to be composited may be inside the specified composite pattern. Thus, the composite character of the excellent quality is always generated without increasing the burden on an operator. |
