The digital lighting controller has an output repeating circuit to match the need of expanding lighting load using the same control input. The controller comprises a switching unit (1) for supplying controlled power to lighting load, a gate unit (2) for generating gate control signal to b be transmitted to the switching unit, a microprocessor (3) for controlling input output of signal and for generating and transmitting the operating signal to the gate unit, a memory (4) for storing gate firing angle data, and lighting programs, a zero crossing detector (5) for detecting zero crossing of the input power, and an input-output repeating circuit (6) for inputting and outputting digital lighting control signal using serial communication method.
