PURPOSE:To weld a welding base metals without being restricted by the material-reformed state of the base metals by interposing an insert metal between the welding base metal and another welding base metal and subjected the base metals to beam welding. CONSTITUTION:The joint surfaces of the welding base metal 1 and another welding base metal 2 are respectively finished flat. The two welding base metals 1, 2 are disposed and positioned while the insert metal 3 is held between the joint surfaces. The joint part is then welded by beam welding, such as electron beam welding laser beam welding, etc. The crack sensitivity of the base metals is weakened in such a manner or the welding even with different metals having poor affinity is available as well. |
