<p>PURPOSE:To fix an object column of insertion on a display screen, and to easily confirm the context between document data to be inserted and following document data and facilitate the elaboration of a document by specifying a next input position automatically with a cursor while moving the cursor only on the specific row on the display screen in insertion mode. CONSTITUTION:When the insertion mode is set by a setting means (a), a cursor control means (b) moves the cursor in the range of one specific row on the display screen in response to the insertion of document data or a cursor movement indication. A display control means (c) scrolls the document data column, displayed on the display screen, by only one row in response to the movement of the cursor from the head to the tail of the row or vice versa by the cursor control means (b). Therefore, while the cursor is moved only on the specific column on the display screen, the next input position can be specified automatically with the cursor. Consequently, the context between the inserted document data and document data before or behind the document data can easily be grasped.</p> |
