<p>NEW MATERIAL:An optically active compound of formula I [R1 is H or 1-4C alkoxycarbonyl; Ra is protective group for H or OH; P is OH; Q is H; P and Q are merged into O; two chiral-centered carbon atoms with * marks is each in either (S,S) or (R,R) configuration; in case Cs with upside-down T marks are chiral-centered carbon atoms, being each either in S- or R-configuration; double bonds being each in either E-E or Z-Z configuration]. EXAMPLE:(3R,4R)-3,4-bis{3-benzyloxyprop-1(E)-enyl}-1-hydroxycy-cl-open tane. USE:An intermediate capable of synthesizing only a stereoisomer with physiologi cal activity by introducing in high yield chiral center into cyclopentanois stereoselectively and in short process. PREPARATION:An optically active compound of formula II is put to dimerization, reduction, Claisen rearrangement and cyclization etc. into new optically active compounds of respective formulas III-IV (Rb is protective group for H or OH; A and B are each H or direct bond), from which the objective optically active compound of the formula I can be obtained.</p> |
