<p>The processor is for processing pack data to read and write subdata according to the subdata format. The processor includes an analog to digital converter (100) for digitizing the analog signal to be written, a memory (50) for storing the digitized data and subdata, a data processor (20) for processing and transmitting data read fromthe memory, a timing signal generator (40) for generating timing signals to control the system units, an error processor (80) for incoding the pack data using read solomon code and for storing on the memory (50), a read/write controller (60) for generating memory address signal when a pack read signal (S1) is received and for modulating the subdata to record on a tape, and a recording position controller (70) for checking the data in a memory and designating effective pack data address.</p> |
