PURPOSE:To simply and efficiently carry out washing by appropriately revolving the second arm with respect to the first arm while a washing hose is drawn out in such a state that a washing solution is discharged from the base part of the hollow part of the first arm toward the leading end of the hollow interior of the second arm. CONSTITUTION:A coating gun is detached from a mounting member 16 and various hoses arranged to the internal space of an arm are also removed. A washing hose 26 is inserted through the arm 1 (first arm) from the leading end part of the mounting member 16 toward the base part of the arm 1. The guide part 27 slidable along the inner wall part of the arm 1 is provided to the leading ent part of the washing hose 26 and a washing nozzle 28 discharging the washing thinner supplied by the washing hose 26 to the periphery thereof in a conical shape is provided thereto. The washing hose 26 is drawn out while the thinner is discharged from the base part of the hollow interior of the arm 1 toward the leading end of the interior of the mounting member 16 and an arm 3 (second arm), a wrist part 10 and the mounting part 16 are appropriately revolved. By this method, the hollow interior of all of the arm 3, the wrist part 10 and the mounting member 16 are washed. |
