CONSTITUTION:A CPU 204A is provided with a paper feeding cassette abnormality reset discriminating means 114 discriminating whether the abnormality of the paper feeding cassette is reset or not, a paper feeding cassette selecting means 214 selecting the paper feeding cassette according to priority order previously stored in a paper feeding priority order storage means 215 provided inside a ROM 205, a paper feeding cassette abnormality discriminating means 314 discriminating whether the paper feeding cassette selected by the paper feeding cassette selecting means 214 is abnormal or not, a paper feeding cassette discriminating means 414 setting the paper feeding cassette selected based on a result discriminated by the paper feeding cassette abnormality discriminating means 314 when the initial display is carried out, etc. On the other hand, a RAM 206 has a paper feeding cassette storage means 216 storing the result discriminated by the paper feeding cassette abnormality discriminating means 314 when it is discriminated that a relevant cassette is not abnormal. |
