PURPOSE:To improve the flaw resistance of a cartridge system which delivers the front end of a film by rotating a spool and the adhesiveness to a base by forming the protective coating layer on the base of the film of a radiation curing resin. CONSTITUTION:The protective coating layer on the base of the photographic film 3 of the photographic film cartridge 1 which delivers the front end of the film 3 from the film drawing out port 5 of a cartridge body 4 to the outside by rotating the spool 2 provided freely turnably in the body 4 in the film feed direction is formed of the radiation curing resin. The 1st essential component of the radiation curable resin used for the protective coating layer is urethane acrylate and easily forms a crosslinked bond by irradiation with suitable radiations. The 2nd essential component is polyfunctional acrylate which has the effect of increasing the hardness of the protective coating layer, enhancing the adhesive strength and accelerating rapid curing. Then, the flaw resistance and the adhesiveness to the base are improved.
