PURPOSE:To keep a freezing room temperature at a given temperature by controlling drive and stop of a compressor in a freezing cycle based on the freezing room temperature, turning a fan during operation of the compressor to circulate cold air in a refrigerator, and also turning the fan during stop of the compressor. CONSTITUTION:Because a fan control switch 50 is not opened unless an integrating timer 56 has not passed a given time, a fan motor 34 is kept on being energized and a fan 36 is turned on. Consequently, cold air in a freezing room 25 and from a condenser 33 which is set lower than a set temperature of a refrigerating room 26, chilled room 27, and vegetable room 28 is supplied to each of these rooms 26, 27, and 28, with resulting acceleration of refrigeration to these. When the temperature of the freezing room 25 is raised by supplying cold air in it 25 to each of these rooms 26, 27, and 28, a freezing room temperature detecting switch 47 is closed to cause a compressor 49 to be operated so that the temperature of the freezing room 25 is kept at a given temperature again. |
