PURPOSE:To constitute a television receiver with considerably improved operation convenience for the user by selecting and outputting a video signal and an audio signal in a received television signal and a video signal and an audio signal in a television signal inputted with descrambling. CONSTITUTION:A tuner section 3 selects a television signal STV of a desired channel among satellite television broadcast signals SBS in response to a channel selection signal SCM from a control circuit 4 and inputs the result to a switch circuit 11A as a video signal SVD via an LPF 7A and an amplifier circuit 7B. A picture in response to the video signal SVD or a signal SVD1 is projected on a screen of a CRT 14 in response to a video switching signal CNTVD from the video switch circuit 11A. Similarly, a sound in response to an audio signal SAD or a descramble audio signal SAD1 is sounded from a speaker 16 in response to an audio switching signal CNTAD from an audio switch circuit 11B. |
