PURPOSE:To contrive the reduction of size and weight and of the number of parts by providing a time difference driving mechanism in a train of gears for driving a transfer mechanism wherein the regular rotation of a driving motor and the paper take-away action of a paper transfer mechanism are operatively associated with each other by connecting such motor and mechanism. CONSTITUTION:The driving pulse of a pulse motor 11 is applied at a low rate during printing, at an intermediate rate during the driving of a cutter mechanism 2 and at a high rate upon the return of a time difference driving mechanism 32. When the pulse motor 11 rotates reversely after completion of printing action, the cutter mechanism 2 cuts off a continuous length paper during the movement of a pin 31 of a gear 30 within a zone A in an air gap part 27 of a cam member 28 and, when the pin 31 of the gear 30 engaged with the cam member 28 via a zone B in the air gap part 27 moves to a zone C, a feed roller 8 rotates reversely. When the aforesaid pin 31 moves within a zone D corresponding to the almost entire area of the air gap part 27, the time difference driving mechanism 32 returns to the initial condition with the cutter mechanism 2 and the feed roller 8 remaining stationary. |
